Cupcakes Anonymous soars to the summit
Last month, a group of eight powerful women who call themselves Cupcakes Anonymous, along with hike leader Adam Leiser, completed a hike for mental health to the summit of Mt. Washington in New Hampshire.
In the words of group organizer, Tina Potenti:
We had an amazing time! Adam was the best guide ever and we felt safe and surrounded by knowledge. He not only kept us safe, he took time to stop and explain the things we were seeing and the history behind some of the sites, paths and huts. He made this entire hike possible and we are forever grateful! We gave him a trail name suitable for a rockstar… Adam Ravine.
We are honored to have raised the amount of money we did and exceeded our $2,000 goal! Not bad for 8 chicks!
And we are honored, Tina, that you made HIKE for Mental Health a part of your adventure! 100% of the funds you raised will help to alleviate suffering from mental illness and to conserve wilderness trails.
And if anyone else wants to hike Mt. Washington, see our Annual Summit Mt. Washington hike. Registration is free.
